Those who prefer to travel by car will appreciate the first-rate roads connections from the A9 Pyhrn Motorway (exit Admont-Gesaeuse at Ardning). The A9 that provides an easy link to the Graz and Linz areas.

Drivers coming from the Vienna area have a variety of possible routes to the National Park area. We recommend the A1 Western Motorway (exit Amstetten Nord) continuing the journey on minor-roads via Waidhofen/Ybbs, Weyer and Altenmarkt on Enns.

If you prefer to go on the A2 Suedautobahn (Southern Motorway), the S6 and the Pyhrn Motorway A9, either use the Traboch exit, then over the Praebichl and via Eisenerz to the Gesaeuse, or use the Admont-Gesaeuse exit at Ardning.

If you come from the west (Salzburg), travel on the A10 Tauern Motorway and then on the B146 Ennstal-Federal road via Schladming and Liezen.
