Download variation 1: When you click on the link, or the picture, with the left mouse button, the high resolution picture will open in a new window. There you can save the picture on your hard disc by clicking "Save picture as…".

Download variation 2: When you click on the link, or the picture, with the right mouse button, and then click "Save target as…", the high resolution picture will be saved directly on your hard disc.
