Project days and project weeks in the Gesäuse National Park

schulprogramm2014-1 KopieA key aspect of the Gesäuse National Park's educational role is to help visitors actively experience nature. The park provides not only information but, in particular, the opportunity for adventure. That means experiencing the many facets of the natural environment with all the senses, to "grasp" them, smell and taste them. Attractive programmes run in the open air, involving intense dialogue between classes and fully trained National Park rangers, and using playful didactic methods, actively involve pupils in the programmes and help them to understand the concept of a National Park.

Our programme for schools offers an abundant line-up of activities for classes of every age. Download our programme here.

We also offer our tried-and-tested programme of courses for school classes as customised 2 to 5-day packages. Run at various locations in and around the Gesäuse National Park, and offering accommodation with National Park partner organisations, the programmes are designed in accordance with their surroundings. This significantly reduces transfer requirements and keeps package costs down.

All our programmes, whether half-day, one-day or several days in length, are led by trained National Park rangers.
